Group: parts that ride together. Multi-mic: same source captured more than once — multiple mics, DI + amp, or layered/printed copies of one take (aligned with your approval). Solo and mute affect the preview only.

Export

Stereo mix: 24-bit WAV with Tide's loudness chain for streaming. Stems: clean 24-bit WAVs (rides, high-pass and approved alignment applied; no loudness processing).

Genre

Balance target

Every part starts from the industry standard for its type. Each slider adds that much of one correction on top.
No reference loaded.
With a reference loaded, the mix aims for its loudness (loudest section), its loudness range (untick to use the genre's loudness and its peak-to-loudness floor). The density slider limits how far the hits are flattened, toward never more than the reference's; if that limit is reached first, the mix comes out quieter. The tone-match slider (off by default, so each track keeps its own tonality) moves the low end (kick, bass) and the top (cymbals, hi-hat) toward how heavy and bright they sit against the mids in the reference.
